The accident, which happened shortly after 5pm today in Bulmer Lane, led to the road being closed for about an hour.

Villager Nicholas Rowark, 16, who was on the double-decker with fellow students from Great Yarmouth College, jumped off and took this picture of the accident scene.

It is unclear what caused the Renault Clio to lose control; it is thought the driver escaped uninjured.

  • I presume that he got off the bus first of all to see if he could help? It would be a bit sick if the only reason he got off was to take the picture.
