Chris Bell, forecaster for Norwich-based Weatherquest, said reports of another storm set to batter the country will be restricted to the north-west areas of England and Scotland.

He said: “Tomorrow will be breezy with wind speeds of between 20-25mph in the evening, with gusts of up to 55mph.

“On Sunday evening we can expect winds of up to 20mph with gusts of up to 50mph. Temperatures will remain mild with some frosts in the mornings.”
