The Museum of the Broads at Stalham Staithe is holding its first pirate day tomorrow (Sunday) from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

The Museum of the Broads at Stalham Staithe is holding its first pirate day tomorrow (Sunday) from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

Families are encouraged to come and see the museum pirates and children are invited to dress as a pirate or make their own pirate hat and eye patch. There will be prizes for the best dressed pirates.

There will be a chance to take a trip on the museum’s Victorian steam boat to ‘Treasure Island’ and meet the resident pirate. Youngsters will be able to hunt for treasure, make a model pirate ship, draw their own treasure map, play on the pirate play boat and have their face painted.

Museum entry: adults £4, children £2.50, families £12. Boat trip: £2.50 per person.
