Complaining Tory MP Louise Mensch has made me feel sorry for Katie Price

Outspoken Conservative MP Louise Mensch has been compared to Katie Price in an interview given by Sarah Vine, wife of Education Secretary Michael Gove.

Mrs Mensch, who regular readers will know gets my goat as effectively as a troll under a bridge, had her face and figure compared to the glamour model who, to do her credit, isn’t campaigning to erode women’s rights to abortion or the importance of ‘keeping yourself nice’ for your husband.

Mensch is said to have “hit the roof” after reading Mrs Gove’s views about her “pert but modest-sized breasts” and complained to David Cameron about the comparison to Price.

Personally, I feel sorry for Katie. Who on earth wants to be compared to Louise Mensch?
