More than 100 people braved Sunday’s bad weather for a grand hog roast at Thornage.

Handbell ringers from the Camphill Trust and local musicians Justin Myers and Tony Britten added to the festive atmosphere.
And resident Jackie Wright made a diamond-shaped cake with blue icing, decorated with the names of all the commonwealth countries, red and white roses, horses and corgis.
