Emergency services were called to a string of crashes on Norfolk’s roads in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Firefighters had to help a casualty from their car, after a crash at Ludham just before 12.30am. Crews from Martham and Stalham went to the scene.

At just after 4.15am, a Grey Audi A4 was involved in a crash at Southery Road in Feltwell. A woman in her 20s was in the car, but her injuries were not serious. A fire crew from Downham Market went to the scene.

Just after 5am, a man in his early 20s suffered cuts and bruises after the Volkswagen Golf he was in was involved in a crash close to the Fundenhall Road/Holly Lane junction in Fundenhall. Firefighters from Long Stratton attended.

And, shortly after 8.15am, a fire crew from Sprowston went to Beeston St Andrew, where a black Vauxhall Tigra was in a crash at North Walsham Road.

A woman in her 40s was in the car, but did not suffer any injuries.
