Gary Moore, 32, of Cromer Road, entered no plea to a charge of burglary when he appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He is alleged to have stolen jewellery, cash and other items worth more than £2,800 from a home in Middletons Lane, Hellesdon, between September 9 and 11.

He will be committed to Norwich Crown Court on November 19.

Moore was released on bail but will be electronically tagged. He must comply with a curfew between 7pm and 7am, must reside at his home address and must not enter Hellesdon until his next hearing.
