The Met Office has downgraded a severe weather warning for Sunday

Rain and gales are still expected over the next couple of days, however.

The heaviest rain is forecast to come on Sunday evening, with 10-15mm of rain predicted, which could still lead to localised flooding.

A yellow warning, which means be aware, has been issued to people living in the south west of England for Sunday.

Initially the weather warning covered the east but it is believed now that it will on impact the south west of the country.

  • Strangely the Met Office website has no weather warnings for the East of England. One of them is wrong!!

  • Still nothing on Met Office website - the warning on there is for the South West of England. As Dave01 said, 15mm isn't that much, about half an inch and unlikely to cause flooding I'd have thought.

  • 10 to 15mm of rain doesn't sound much. whereas 15 to 50mm in one evening would be cause for concern, just how bad are the drains in Norfolk then? We shall see, anyway better to be warned than not.
