  • Guess she never thought to take it to a police station and hand it in? Had the same thing happen to my duaughter who lost her phone in Norwich she reported it to the police striaght away, someone found it tried to access it but it was password protected they then took the memeory card out and viewed the pictures, before printing some off to reveal her school uniform and then had her identified by another pupil at the school before taking the phone to her school nearly a month later! I informed the police of this act and they were horrified and said they were going to investigate. Finding a phone and not handing it in is theft as this paper should now. My advise hand it in the phone that is the quickest way to reunite phone and owner, and if they dont claim it after a certain time I believe you can do so yourself but maybe wrong.
