Drivers using the A11 are experiencing rush hour delays this evening following a crash near Wymondham.
Emergency services attended the scene of the single vehicle collision, which occurred in the southbound carriageway, near the Mulbarton turning, just before 4.30pm.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police said a car crashed into the central reservation and had blocked the road, causing long tailbacks. The road was reopened by 6.30pm.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said an ambulance and paramedic officer were called just after 4.30pm to a man in his 40s who has suffered a neck injury.
Firefighters from Wymondham and Hethersett stations attended and used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the casualty from the car.
