With an estimated 90,000 people heading to the showground at Costessey on June 25/26, the road network is always under pressure.

Show organisers have drawn up traffic routes to minimise disruption and get drivers to the most convenient car park.

First Eastern Counties Buses has come up with a combined ticket offer for reduced entry fees and travel.

A special 100 service will operate on both days and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Routemaster this year, the iconic red bus will be running.

Hugo Forster, general manager of First Eastern Counties, said: 'The combined ticket options represent great value for money as well as helping people to beat the traffic and not worry about finding a parking space.

'We hope everyone enjoys this year's show and as many people as possible manage to ride on the Routemaster.'

Combined ticket price (admission to the show and bus travel):

• Adult – Norwich zones 1-5, £23, Network return £28;

• Children – £9.50/£12

• Concessions – £19.50/£25

• Family ticket (two adults, three children) – £57.50/£75. Services will run from 8am until 7.10pm from Norwich Rail Station to the Norfolk Showground via St Stephens Street.

Buses will leave the train station every 30 minutes and St Stephens Street every 15 minutes. Return services will run twice an hour from 8.45am to 7.45pm. To see a full timetable visit www.firstgroup.com
