The pair ran off with cash after what police described as an “aggravated robbery” at a home in Civic Gardens shortly after 8.30pm on Friday.

Police believe the people in the home were deliberately targeted by the robbers and appealed for help from the public to catch them.

The first man is white, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5ft 5ins, and was wearing a grey hoody with a full zipper with his hood up. The second man was black and about 6ft, wearing a navy or black hoody.

The men fled in the direction of Bignold Road.

DC Sharon Fish, from Norwich CID, said: “We believe that the occupants of this address were specifically targeted, however we would urge anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area last night to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Norwich CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
