Police are investigating after a roadsweeper crashed onto its side and blocked a Norwich roundabout.
Police initially urged drivers to avoid the roundabout near Norwich Puppet Theatre because a car was on fire.
But it turned out it was a roadsweeper which had tipped onto its side close to the Magdalen Street flyover.
Emergency services went to the scene just after 2pm.
Fire crews from Earlham and Carrow went to the scene, but were not required to put out a fire. However, they made the scene safe and helped the driver, who police said had suffered minor injuries.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area while the roadsweeper was moved, with the flyover closed between the roundabout and St Crispins roundabout.
The road reopened just after 3.20pm.
Anyone who saw what happened should call Norfolk police on 101.
