The repair work will be done along a four-and-a-half mile stretch between Dereham and the slip road to Wendling.

Both the eastbound and westbound carriageways will be affected and the work will take place between Friday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 23.

The resurfacing will start overnight on Friday, October 12 and a temporary 40mph speed limit and two way traffic signal will be put in place until 10am on Sunday, October 14.

Once resurfacing is complete, overnight work to repair the road surface will continue from Monday, October 15 to Tuesday, October 23 inclusive. This work will take place between 8pm and 6am.

No work will take place on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21.

Drivers are being advised to leave extra time for journeys.

  • Guessing from the text Saturday the 13th October will be a whole day of resurfacing? - "The resurfacing will start overnight on Friday, October 12 and a temporary 40mph speed limit and two way traffic signal will be put in place until 10am on Sunday, October 14."
