I want to complain about this content:

I usually give time to a lot of what 'V' writes but not this time. OK to those who live in the past and come out with the old 'in my day' rubbish remember that there was not the legislation that exists today which places legal responsibilities on organisations such as schools for the Health & Safety of staff and pupils. There were not so many vehicles around then and most staff and pupils lived relatively local to their schools. Also, it is a management responsibility to close or not, it is not the decision of the majority of the staff. On the flip side, I don't feel sorry for parents at all, it comes as part of the responsibility of having children, parents look after your own children and stop whingeing, you chose to have them accept YOUR responsibilities and that includes when you can take them on holidays.
