I want to complain about this content:

The pomposity of it all is striking. How come they are allowed to stop traffic at all? why are motorists the only traffic participants? are bicyclists and pedestrians stopped? With modern methods , cameras everywhere, automatic counting machines and traffic modelling, how come that we still need this disruption in the first place? not to speak of its persistent selection of cars, only.
