Rail delays on Norwich-London mainline after person hit by a train

Rail services between Norwich and London were disrupted today after a person was hit by a train.

Greater Anglia services were suspended between Colchester and Manningtree this morning as a result of the incident at about 11am today.

A person had been hit by a train between Colchester and Manningtree, which resulted in the mainline being closed.

Services were running again by 12.15pm, but some delays continued.
