Firefighters are damping down after a fire at a derelict holiday camp which once played host to thousands of holidaymakers.

Six fire engines - from Martham, Stalham, Wroxham, Carrow and two from Gorleston - have attended the incident at the former Pontins site in Beach Road, along with the aerial ladder platform and a support appliance from Great Yarmouth.
Firefighters battled the blaze in the roof area of a former function room, believed to be part of the old entertainments complex.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets supplemented by a hydrant to extinguish the fire after being called to the incident at 5.12am.
The worst of the fire at the 8m x 25m x 20m building is now out and crews are damping down.
Two fire crews remain at the scene, dampening down and checking for hotspots.
Jonathan Wilby, station manager at Great Yarmouth, said: 'We were to the site at around 5.30am this morning.
'We had six fire appliances along with support vehicles and area ladder platforms.
'There were around about 40 firefighters.
'We carried out an aggressive, offensive attack to stop the fire from worsening in the building that was successful.
'The initial crews did a fantastic job.
'It probably took maybe an hour and a half, two hours to bring the fire under control.'
The 2,440-capacity camp in Hemsby has been empty since 2008 when Pontin's closed it 'following a period of sustained operating losses'.
