Police are appealing for further witnesses to a serious road crash which left a motorcyclist with multiple broken bones and head injuries.

The crash happened in Little Plumstead at about 2.30pm on Saturday.

A blue Vauxhall Astra was travelling along Hospital Lane towards Little Plumstead when, close to the junction with Kevill Drive, it was in a crash with a black KTM 990 motorcycle heading in the opposite direction.

The rider of the motorcyle, a man in his 40s from the North Walsham area, received multiple broken bones and head injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he is still receiving treatment.

Anyone who saw the crash, or the vehicles beforehand, should call PC Gary Prescott at Acle Road Policing, on 101.
