Police and firefighters were called to a Norwich hospital this afternoon to help bring a person down from the roof.
The incident started at about 3pm at the Julian Hospital, in Bowthorpe Road, and the emergency services were at the scene for more than two hours.
A Norfolk police spokesman said the incident had involved one of the hospital’s in-patients.
He said that the situation had been resolved and that the patient was safe and well.
Three fire crews, from Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston, had assisted the police.
The Julian Hospital assesses and cares for older people with mental health problems such as dementia and depression.
