Fire crews across north Norfolk and beyond are fighting two blazes.
Earlier this afternoon a large barn and horsebox were reported as “well alight” at Cockthorpe, between Stiffkey and Langham.
And a large straw stack and field were on fire at Ramsgate Street, Edgefield, south of Holt.
At 4.10pm firefighters from Wells were on their way to the Cockthorpe incident to relieve two crews from Cromer who had been tackling the blaze with colleagues from Fakenham and Sprowston - including the environmental protection unit - plus engines from Holt and Sheringham.
At Edgefield crews had the fire surrounded and reported that they were “making progress.”
The water carrier from Hethersett has joined crews there from Aylsham, North Walsham, Reepham, Mundesley and Stalham.
