A woman was assaulted and robbed of her mobile phone as she walked home from a night out in Norwich.

The victim, 38, was walking with her boyfriend when they were approached by two men in Riverside in the early hours of yesterday, at about 12.15am

The victim and her partner were pushed to the floor and one of the suspects grabbed the victim’s mobile phone before running off.

Both suffered minor injuries which did not require any medical attention.
