Anyone fancy a dip?

Paralympic champion Jessica-Jane Applegate prepares to dive in – but it's no ordinary pool.

The 3D installation was the work of artist Joe Hill, who drew the three-metre-by-six-metre creation on the pavement outside the Sportspark at the University of East Anglia.

The stunt was to promote the Sport Relief Swimathon taking place at the Sportspark on Sunday, March 23.

'The artwork is amazing – I can't believe how real it looks!', said the swimmer, who won gold at London 2012.

'Swimming is a great form of exercise and I was pleased to hear Sport Relief are now offering people the option. I hope hundreds of people will take part.'

Artist Mr Hill said 'I really hope my swimming pool will inspire people to dig out their trunks and swimming costumes and take part in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Swimathon.'

People can run, swim or cycle in the Sport Relief Games on the weekend of March 21 to 23.
