The month-long music festival runs all through October across the country with hundreds of events around the UK, all organised by volunteers.

More than 20 live music acts performed in Norwich, including Cielo, Tom Pearce and Ethan Ash. There was also an unplugged set from Feral Mouth in the four venues for the night.

BamBam and Beluga, in Tombland, Karma Kafe on Bedford Street, and Hideout, all hosted the Takeover event.

Organisers from the Norwich team want to thank Danny Banthorpe who worked tirelessly in the run-up to the event and on the night too.

The Oxjam Takeover manager said: “We have had so much support from the amazing Norwich music scene and music lovers.

“We expanded our team this year and had an amazing production manager, Thomas Robson, who oversaw the whole event and was a true asset to Oxjam.”
