Two squad cars were on scene at High Class Nails, in Ber Street, after an emergency call was made at 4.25pm today.

A Norfolk police control room supervisor said officers were still dealing with the incident at around 8pm, and that it had been reported to them as a woman “trying to punch a window at a nail salon”.

He added there was mention of a glass bottle, and the caller was concerned that the woman was injured.

The glass in the shop’s door appeared to be smashed, with products scattered among the shards on the ground.

  • High class indeed! Imagine what carnage would have happened if it had been a lower-to-middle class nail bar...
