A man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was assaulted near the Mecca bingo hall in Aylsham Road, Mile Cross, Norwich.
Two men were arrested in connection with the assault.
A Norfolk police spokesman said: “Police were called at about 11.50pm yesterday to the vicinity of the Mecca bingo hall in Aylsham Road.
“Police attended a report of an assault. One male was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with suspected serious head injuries. He remains in hospital in a serious condition. Two males were arrested in connection with the incident.”
