The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has joined Stonewall’s Health Champions programme, receiving free advice and expertise on health services from the gay equality charity.
The programme, funded by the Department of Health, supports 20 health organisations across Britain to improve health services for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
Stonewall research shows that gay people have a range of specific health concerns which often go unmet. Health services often overlook these needs and focus on sexual health.
Assistant director of nursing Dawn Collins said: “By being a Health Champion we’re sending out a powerful message to our local community.
“We’re proud to be part of the programme and look forward to developing our work around sexual orientation with Stonewall.”

Paxman is a boorish bully. Chloe`s boss is a wimp. Chloe was a rabbit in the headlights. Special treatment of Lesbians & Gays is essential in our PC World. Along with self-inflicted obesity and whatever other "ity" is currently fashionable. Just as long as we continue to neglect old people caught in "fuel poverty" and destined for a hypothermic Winter.

Bookworm , i am going to help you. Google " Treasury Minister defends delay of 3p per litre rise " and you will then be able to see Miss Smith on BBC Newsnight getting a terrible bashing from Paxo. Warning , contains scenes of a distressing nature.
