Norwich City football player Robert Snodgrass is hoping to raise funds to help the families of the victims of the Glasgow helicopter tragedy.
Ten people died after a police helicopter crashed into the Clutha bar in Glasgow on November 29.
Mr Snodgrass, who is from Glasgow, has set up a Just Giving page online which aims to raise £5,000 to help those affected by the tragedy,
He said: “I am a proud Scotland internationalist and a proud Glaswegian. I have been touched by the community spirit shown by all Glaswegians since the tragedy and want to use my profile to help the excellent fundraising effort in any way I can.”
He added: “The money will be added to the many fundraising activities taking place to provide vital support to those who have been affected by the Clutha tragedy.”
