Supporters of Norwich City FC have contributed another six-figure sum for the Canaries, for the 15th consecutive year, thanks to saving money with club partner Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.
The latest donation of £281,351.80 - which the club will receive at the Fulham home match today - is the latest annual bonus payment from N&P, generated by fans saving in a Canary Account or the new Canary Bond launched in November 2012.
This latest six-figure sum brings the total amount the club has netted from longstanding club partner N&P to £3.88 million since 1997 - all thanks to fans saving their money with Norwich City products offered by the society.
Norwich City’s head of sales and marketing Will Hoy said: “The club would like to thank thousands of Norwich City supporters yet again in helping the club receive another considerable cheque from our club partner, Norwich & Peterborough Building Society. City fans who currently have a Canary Account or Canary Bond, we thank you all on achieving this latest figure.
“Thank you also to all the staff at N&P for their support and we look forward to many more City fans opening or investing in N&P products which will help benefit their club throughout 2013.”
N&P’s head of sales and marketing Mike Sketch said: “We are proud of our longstanding relationship with Norwich City and are delighted that Canaries supporters have helped us to make another sizeable donation this year.”
