A charity promoting the study of astronomy is holding a series of events in south Norfolk.
The Norwich Astronomical Society, based at Thwaite St Mary, has organised two public open nights taking place early this year.
The first talk, entitled Galaxies - Star Cities of the Universe, will be taken by Mark Turner on February 7 and 8. The second talk, entitled Aliens and Us - Are They Out There, will be taken by Steve H and Malcolm B on March 7 and 8.
Doors for both talks will open at 7.30pm at Seething Observatory, next to the airfield, and will start at 8pm. Talks will last around 40 minutes.
There will be a chance to observe through the telescopes, if the skies are clear.
The charity is also hosting an event to celebrate Yuri’s Day - an annual celebration of human spaceflight - on April 12. There will be activities for young people between 2pm and 6pm and activities for adults between 7pm and 11pm.
