An inquest has been opened into the death of a 29-year-old Norwich man who was found hanging at his home.
Thomas Elliott, of Clarendon Road in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich, was founding hanging at his home last Friday.
An ambulance was called to take him to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival at the N&N.
The details of the student’s death were confirmed at the opening of the inquest at the Norfolk Coroner’s Court, in Thorpe Road, Norwich yesterday.
Norfolk’s new senior coroner, Jacqueline Lake, adjourned the hearing until a later date to allow for further investigations.
