More than 500 people took part in East Anglia's Children's Hopsice (EACH) Colour Dash at Eaton Park, Norwich on Sunday, May 14.

The event saw clear weather as adults, children and families gathered at the starting line ready to run the 5km whilst being showered with brightly coloured powder paints.

Tal Williams, EACH Norfolk Community Fundraiser, said: 'It was a fantastic day and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The Colour Dash raised around £10,000 which will help edge us closer to our £10 million goal for the nook appeal.'

The nook appeal was launched in November 2014. The appeal aims to raise £10 million to transform children's care across the county, including a new purpose-built hospice called the nook in Framingham Earl, south of Norwich.

The next Colour Dash will take place in Lowestoft on July 9. To register visit www.each.org.uk/colour-dashes .
