Part of a Norfolk school is closed today due to staff absence.
Sidestrand Hall School, near Cromer, is closed to Lower School due to “severe” staff absence.

....think you will find the governors might be first in line !.....what, when rev Roger Billings, Chair of the school governors has recently won an award for outstanding governance from at the Norfolk Governance Awards (June this year).

Well that is a full explanation then isn't it, a story almost as short as the headline. Hasn't the school any obligation to keep its promise to teach children? What is Norfolk County Council going to do today about Sidestrand school's failure to produce what is promised on the tin? What can parents do? Should the head resign?
