More than 100 houses in the NR2 area of Norwich were left without power after a network fault this lunchtime.
Power to 118 homes was interrupted at 11.40am, although supplies were restored to 43 properties at 1.03pm after a fault on an underground electricity cable was repaired.
UK Power Networks engineers are working on emergency repairs to restore power supplies to the remaining 75 customers in the Newmarket Street area.
A UKPN spokesman said: “We appreciate how difficult it can be to lose power, especially at this time of year, and would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this incident.”
