The event last night highlighted the packed programme during the festival from June 27 to July 6, which aims to celebrate the creativity and talent of Norfolk’s young people.

Music, theatre, visual art, film and more will feature in the festival line-up, and young people aged five to 19 and from about 60 schools will be taking part in events around the county.

At last night’s launch guests were treated to a performance by Venezuelan harpist
Leonard Jacome, who leads El Sistema’s harp programme in Venezuela. Sister organisation Sistema in Norwich is holding a YNAF concert at Epic Studios in Norwich on June 28.
