More than 200 women in Norwich have helped to raise thousands of pounds for local charities by attending a fashion show of pre-loved clothes.
Sarah Morgan, an image consultant from Mundesley, organised the event to help raise funds for a woman’s refuge and people affected by cancer.
Spending more than a month collecting clothes and accessories donated from clients, Ms Morgan staged the glamour-filled fashion show and sale of second-hand clothes and accessories at The Library Restaurant, on Guildhall Hill, in Norwich’s city centre.
She also enlisted the help of friends and colleagues to model the clothes on the runway.
A total of £3,000 was raised and will be divided evenly between Norwich-based charities, Stonham Women’s Refuge, which supports women and children who have fled abusive relationships, and cancer charity, The Big C.
