The next of South Norfolk Council’s WEEE events will take place on Tuesday, October 30 at Mulbarton Village Hall and Social Club on the village common, between 9am and 2.30pm.

Almost 900 items were brought to the last waste event in Wymondham a few weeks ago where six tonnes of unwanted goods were reused or given to a new home.

Paul Riches, of Bracon Ash Garage, will be at the Mulbarton WEEE event picking up cycles for recycling, and selling them for EACH.

For the last 20 years, he has collected abandoned bikes from places like the University of East Anglia, repaired and then resold them at auction for the charity.
