Norwich South MP Simon Wright will be helping out at the Norwich Foodbank collection at the Waitrose supermarket in Eaton tomorrow morning.
Volunteers from the charity will be collecting items from shoppers, between 10am and 3pm, which can be packed into food boxes to be given to people in times of crisis.
Mr Wright said: “I’m pleased to be able to help the Norwich Foodbank and raise awareness of the number of families in Norwich in or close to poverty who need our help.
“By adding an extra item of food from the Foodbank’s list shoppers can really make a difference for families or individuals in the Norwich area who are in crisis.”
