Three men accused of attempting to steal a cash machine at the University of East Anglia have been charged with three other offences.

John Eli Loveridge, 37, of Beck Row, Mildenhall, John Stanley Loveridge, 18, of Greenways in Newton Flotman and 33-year-old Leonard Smith, of Moat Way, in Swavesey, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The men have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with incidents at the UEA on 2 December, Namco Funscape in Bowthorpe on November 1, Easton College on October 12 and Weeting Post Office on September 26.

The three have also been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with house burglaries in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire between May and December this year.

All three have been remanded in custody and will appear in court again on Friday, December 20.
