Manhole cover causes traffic problems on A11 at Elveden

There are traffic problems on the A11 at Elveden this morning after a manhole cover lifted up.
Suffolk Police were called to the A11 London Road at 8.30am, between the Elveden crossroads and the Thetford Bypass junction.
A manhole cover has lifted off and left ironworks sticking out of a sizeable hole in the northbound carriageway.
The Highways Agency is on the scene and has coned off the manhole while deciding how best to make the scene safe.
