Man suffers broken ribs in Great Yarmouth robbery

A man suffered broken ribs and cuts to his face after he was attacked by robbers in Great Yarmouth.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was walking along Marine Parade, near to the Mint arcade, at around 4.10am on Friday when he was approached by two men.

The pair attacked him before stealing cash from his jeans pockets and a mobile phone from the pocket of his top.

The man suffered a broken bone in his wrist, broken ribs and cuts to his face and nose.

Police are now appealing for information. Witnesses should call DC Riki Chase at Great Yarmouth CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
