A man has been taken to hospital with chest pains after a car damaged a street light.

Police were called to accident on Heartsease Lane, Norwich, at 7.10am.

One car, a Vauxhall Corsa, was involved, and a fence was also reported damaged.

The accident has caused delays to traffic in the area, but a recovery vehicle was on the scene by 8.20am to remove the car.

A police spokesman said the man’s injuries were not believed to be overly serious.
