Police have arrested a man on suspicion of robbery, after three women were threatened and had their bags stolen in Norwich.
On Tuesday night, October 30, two robberies took place in Aylsham Road and in Mandela Close. On both occasions the female victims were threatened with a knife and their bags stolen.
Norfolk Constabulary has also now revealed that a third robbery took place at 11.20am yesterday (Wednesday) in Andersons Meadow, off Mile Cross Road, in which a woman was also threatened with a knife and her bag stolen.
This morning police said a 35-year-old man from Norwich is currently in custody at Aylsham Police Investigation Centre where he is being questioned by detectives.
