The one-vehicle crash happened on Dereham Road, close to the Grapes Hill junction, at about 7.15am today.

A Norfolk police spokesman said the vehicle went over the central reservation, burst a tire, and landed outside the wine shop on the opposite side of the carriageway.

He said nobody was injured in the incident and that the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

The road was closed until just before 8.30am following the crash.

Two fire crews, one from Carrow and one from Earlham, also attended the scene.
