Man dies after being hit by lorry in Norwich

A man who was seriously injured in a collision with a lorry in Norwich earlier this week has died.

Officers were called shortly after 12pm on Monday after a Renault lorry, which was travelling on the A140 Farrow Road towards the Earlham Road roundabout, and a pedestrian were involved in a collision.

The pedestrian, aged in his 80s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.

He died in hospital on Wednesday.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of the lorry and/or pedestrian prior to the incident.
