A silver Peugeot and silver and black Mini collided at the junction of Sprowston Road with Magdalen Road and Churchill Road, outside the Costcutter convenience store.

Police were called at 5.34pm, and fire and ambulance crews also attended, though there were no injuries.

A police spokesman said the road had been closed for around 15 minutes while the scene was cleared, but reopened shortly before 6pm.

Both cars sustained front-end damage in the collision.
