Lowestoft man accused of stealing cash in court today

A 43-year-old man arrested on suspicion of burglary following break-in at Carlton Colville and Great Yarmouth is appearing in court today.

Michael Pritchard of Salisbury Road, Lowestoft, was arrested on Tuesday this week following a burglary at a Beccles Road property between 4.30pm and 6.50pm on Monday. He is accused of stealing a large quantity of cash and jewellery He is also accused of breaking in and stealing cash from business premises in King Street and at Mill Road in Great Yarmouth in January.

Pritchard is due to face three charges at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning.
