Latitude comes to Norwich as the festival collaborates with Norwich Fashion Week and the Knightshift Dance Company on the final show of fashion week 2013, writes EMMA HARROWING.

Key fashion looks from the high street, independent retailers and Norfolk fashion designers will be taking to the stage at Norwich Playhouse on March 14 to mark the final show of Norwich Fashion Week 2013.

But this is no ordinary catwalk show.

Models will walk to the latest sounds from up and coming bands, and fashion sets will be mixed up with dance from the Knightshift Dance Company.

The show is being choreographed by the Knightshift Dance Company’s Stephen Knights who has worked on fashion shows for The Castle Mall and promotional work for Chapelfield Shopping Centre. Fashion sets include John Lewis, Jane Kenning, Mystic Magic Masks, Retreat Vintage, New Look, The Rock Collection, Dogfish and Catfish.

Live music is being provided by Latitude who have teamed up with Norwich Fashion Week this year and are introducing three up and coming bands at the show.

Latitude Festival marketing coordinator Barbara Bryson says that the festival is delighted to be a part of Norwich Fashion Week 2013: “Music and fashion are both part of our festival and the ability to fuse both aspects together on our doorstep at Fashion Mash Up makes us truly excited.”

The band line-up includes MTV’s Brand New for 2013 unsigned runner-up Nina Baker from Norwich, King’s Lynn singer/singerwriter Jake Morrell and Suffolk born Lettie.
