Women in Norwich are being urged to grab their last chance to enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life at the Norfolk Showground.

Entry closes for the 5k and 10k events on Wednesday, May 14 and organisers are encouraging mums, daughters, grannies, sisters, friends and workmates to sign up.

A 10k race will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 10am at the Showground. The charity will be staging a 5k race at 2pm on May 17 and 11am on May 18.

In 2013, 6,972 women took part in Race for Life at the showground and helped raise £457,084 for Cancer Research UK’s work. This year, the charity hopes 7,300 women will hit a fundraising target of £471,997.
