Knifeman demands cash from Great Yarmouth man

A Great Yarmouth man opened his door to a woman asking for cigarettes when a knifeman sprang out and demanded cash.

It happened in South Market Road on Friday, December 27 at some point between 10am and 10.20am.

The victim was at home when there was a knock at the door and when he answered there was a woman stood there.

She requested a “smoke”, the victim said no and then a man appeared and threatened him with a knife demanding money.

The victim’s young child then came to the door and as she did the two offenders ran off.
